Mon 11/17 Bull's Bridge

This is my favorite hike in the area! One of the most scenic spots in Litchfield County, so bring your cameras and parents may want to stay and check it out for a little bit. The town of Kent has a lot to offer, including a public library, lots of coffee shops/bakeries/bistros, shops, etc. 45 on Main coffee and ice cream may be a great spot for a post hike trip with the kids to celebrate a great trimester of Outdoor Education.

This will likely be our last hike for the fall term.

Park at the parking lot before the covered bridge. 248 Bull's Bridge Rod, Kent, CT. The covered bridge is one way traffic at a time.

It will be windy and cold but sunny, wear windproof layers, boots, hat, gloves. Bring food, water, and any and all necessary medical supplies.

We will hike about 2-3 miles along the river, ups and downs, but it is not a hard hike.
