Hello EWoW! It's that time again for Yearbook photos!
The official dates are April 9th & 10th 11am - 2pm both days. These events will be added to your calendars so keep a look out and set reminders for yourself. Pictures will be taken by Parent volunteer Jayne Hinds this year. To improve picture quality, I recommend that students and staff members avoid very dark colors and logos. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via email. lindsey@educationww.org
Thank you!

Hello everyone,
Due to the weather, area public schools are having delayed openings this morning and calls have been coming in about our opening time. As of this moment, we will also have a delayed opening. The building will open at 10 am. All classes that are scheduled to begin prior to 10:45 am are canceled. As always, we hope that you will all use your best discretion when traveling to EWoW, as road conditions and ice accumulations differ widely for our community members, many of whom are traveling from up to an hour away.
Be safe out there!

Good morning!
Another ice storm is predicted for this afternoon. So we are closed, along with everything else in the state.
There is great news, though! I’ve been looking at the extended forecast. It’s going to be gorgeous for your spring break! High temperatures, sunshine.
In the meantime, the rest of this week will be a little bit rainy, but no more freezing temperatures, and hopefully everyone will be able to focus on their final papers and projects that are due this week.
It’s actually kind of perfect if you think about it. A day today to get your work done, rain this week to help you focus, gorgeous weather for your break.

OK, we're gonna cancel for tomorrow. Schools across Connecticut are split 50-50, with delays and closures. It's still snowing here at my house, but I'm mostly concerned about the increased wind gusts tonight moving snow around coupled with incredibly low temperatures tomorrow.
We have a few teachers who need more time to dig out in the morning, and one teacher who’s had things pushed back because of morning delays, making afternoon classes unmanageable.
So there it is. Please be careful tomorrow. These are pretty dangerous conditions for everybody. Take it slow.
See you all bright and early on Wednesday. Breakfast is on me… bagels, hot cocoa, breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns. ;-)

Hello Everyone,
There is an excessive amount of salt and dirt from the roads coming into the house, along with melting snow and ice. Students and staff are cleaning off their shoes as much as they can to combat this but our building staff is struggling to keep up with the extra cleaning throughout the day. Starting tomorrow, we are asking that EVERYONE remove their shoes in the garage before entering the building. Please DO NOT WEAR JUST SOCKS. Slippers or 'indoor' shoes are all fine. After the winter break, there will be an organized station set up to store the outdoor shoes but for now shoes can be placed in a space where it doesn't block the staircase into the kitchen.
Thank you for your attention!
What’s the word for tomorrow?
