Romeo & Juliet Play-Middletown, CT

Hello,

We have one of our senior students, Inti Melendez-Kirchofer, who will be performing for this Shakepearean play held at Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater in Middletown, CT starting in mid-November.

Inti's family mentioned that Middletown has so many amazing food options. A group could probably get together and have dinner after the show.

If anyone is interested, the link for dates and tickets is posted below.

Student & Staff ID Photos 2025/2026

Hello,

I'd like to announce that we are starting the ordering process for our EWoW IDs this year.

As some may have heard, our dear photographer friend Trish Haldin has moved away this past summer and will not be available to take photos for us this year. As we search for a new photographer, I will be stepping in to take the ID Photos with my handy dandy recently upgraded phone. All I will need is good lighting and a few minutes of your time to accomplish this in a timely fashion so these IDs can arrive before the holidays 🙂 They are very simple head shot portraits and will be printed on wallet sized cards so please keep this in mind as you think about your clothes and hair.

Next week, I will be available 11am-1pm Tues-Fri for photos.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free…

Update: There are two days left for pictures. I have taken 2 so far. If I don't take a photo for a returning student/staff member, then the one taken last year will be reused. This is to prevent delays for the order.

Mon 9/29 Sharon Audubon Center

We will meet at 11am at the main parking lot of Sharon Audubon Center.

325 Cornwall Bridge Rd, Sharon, CT 06069

Pick up will be 230-3pm in same place. Parents, remember to see either Leah or I before you leave.

Bring binoculars if you have them! We will be on the look out for our fall migrating birds. This sanctuary has raptor aviaries that we will visit with many birds of prey to see. We will also explore the pollinator gardens. We will do some light hiking, shelter building possibly, work in our nature journals, and have a picnic lunch.

It will be warm, with a high of 80. Bring spf, a hat, and plenty of water as well as the usual stuff like lunch and backpack.

Dates are October 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th

Camryn has a contact that is looking for actors, I believe it's for all ages, so here is the link she provided for sign up:
