Hello everyone!
We are adding in a couple of extras this spring, if there is enough interest, and we are beginning to compile a list for the summer, as well! We have some very exciting stuff!

When the weather is nice, he will be taking the kids to Young's Field to play basketball, soccer, tennis, or frisbee.
We will provide transportation back to 65 Bridge from the gym.
Please let me know if you would like this added to your schedule, when and how often.
You can choose the sports lab, to workout at the gym, or a specific sport.
2) Video Editing w/ Max Ringer
Maximum 6 students
No Additional Fees, but a smartphone that takes video and a personal Adobe Premiere Pro subscription are required.
Scheduling will depend on who takes the class. You need to email me if you want to take this class. First come, first registered. ;)
Video Marketing Production Lab Creative Filmmaking and Advertising for 2023 This course will provide students with hands-on experience through every stage of the video production process and teach them the techniques and strategies to develop any idea into a quality video. The objective of the course is to produce short-form, commercial content for local establishments that the students will present to the clients at the end of the class. It is important to note that the video production landscape is constantly changing. The work of a commercial filmmaker today is very different from what it was five years ago. Considering this, our syllabus focuses on the production of four different types of video, as well as the pillars of good storytelling that connect them.
• Narrative Short
• Commercial Promo
• Social Media Video
• Multimedia Campaign
The students will work together to concept, plan, film, edit, and distribute one video in each of these formats. At the end of the course there will be an Oscars-style ceremony to honor student achievements such as Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actor, etc.
Note*
Students will receive a crash course in Adobe Premiere Pro in order to understand the basics of editing and be able to import and export their video content. Filming will be done using iPhones and an instructor provided film camera.
Max Ringer is an EWoW Alum, a Columbia graduate with a minor in film, and the President of our Board of Directors. He has created many films, including several documentaries. We are so fortunate that he has a little extra time this spring to work with our students!
3) Rock Band is Back!
Fridays 2 pm - 4 pm
There is an additional fee of $175 per student for the semester.
The group will be working towards a performance Memorial Day weekend.
There will be two additional 1 hour blocks set aside for rehearsals weekly, as well.
4) Executive Functioning, Tutoring, Homework Help
As you all are aware, we offer additional academic assistance as needed/requested. The first five Executive Function sessions are included in full-time tuition, after that, the fee is $37.50 per 30 minute session. Tutoring is $75 - $125 per hour depending on the subject and instructor. 30 minute sessions are available. Sessions are scheduled in blocks of four. Please email me if you would like any of these services scheduled. 5) German We have had some inquiries about beginning German. These classes run a little later in the day ... 3:30 - 4:15 pm. If you are interested, please let me know. Once again, if there is enough interest, we will add this to the schedule. Thank you everyone! Please remember to create a membership for yourselves on our new community website - and make sure you list your first and last names to make one-to-one chats easy! Best, Lockey
