- EventsHello Everyone! The community is very excited about the Mount Tom year-end picnic on Thursday 5/23.  Mount Tom is a State Park (https://portal.ct.gov/DEEP/State-Parks/Parks/Mount-Tom-State-Park) and all students, staff, and family members are welcome to attend. While there will be EWoW staff on site for the picnic, your children will need to, as always, be responsible for their own behavior and safety, will need to follow the rules of the park, and will NOT be under adult supervision while there. There is a beach at the site and we are happy to say that Jaz Liotta is a certified lifeguard and will be overseeing water safety. We cannot stress enough that water activities are inherently dangerous so if your child does not follow instructions, they will be asked to exit the water. We require permission from parents for three things: 1) General permission for your child to attend the picnic. 2) Transportation permissions. 3) Water-related activity permissions. If you plan to attend the picnic yourselves, then we will presume that you will also be responsible for your child's safety, of course. Please respond in the comment box below with the following: Your Child's Name A Statement that you either do or do not give permission for your child to participate in swimming/paddle-boarding. A statement that you either do or do not give permission for your child to attend the picnic. A statement that your child may drive with a staff member or other parent to the picnic. An acknowledgement that you have discussed your wishes with your child. OR A statement that you will be providing transport and supervision for your child. For example: Shea Coughlin Shea may attend the picnic but she may not go swimming. Shea may hitch a ride with any of the EWoW staff or parents. Shea is aware of my wishes. I understand that Shea will not be supervised while at the picnic. OR Tucker Coughlin Tucker may attend the picnic and go into the water, as well as participate in any water sports. Tucker may only drive with Mary, Hannah, or Isidora Naples. Tucker is aware of my wishes. I understand that Tucker will not be supervised while at the picnic. OR Campbell Coughlin I will bring Campbell to the park myself. I will be at the picnic while Campbell is there. I look foward to your responses 🙂
- Magazine & YearbookHello EWoW! I want to reiterate my ask for photos for the yearbook with the added incentive that anyone who submits photos will get stickies! I need those photos by this coming Tuesday, 5/7. If you submit more than five (5) photos I'll even give you TWO stickies for your dedication to the cause. Thanks everyone!
- Magazine & YearbookHello EWoW! If you have taken pictures over the course of this school year, be they candids or plandids, and you are comfortable having them in the yearbook, please email them to me as soon as possible! It would be incredible to have student photos of EWoW in the yearbook. I look forward to seeing all your beautiful photos!
