We need a parent or parents to volunteer to organize this trip. It's easy! And you can get a bunch of hours for it. ;) If we don't get this organized right away, it's not going to happen. Tickets sell out fast! Please step up and volunteer. YOUR CHILDREN ASKED TO DO THIS and it is a ton of fun.
Hello Parents!
The students are asking for a trip to Mystic Seaport and Aquarium in March or April. I am looking for a parent to lead and set up this event. If you need hours before the end of the year this a great way to get them. I will come along as well. There are several days that we are off school besides spring break so those might be great days to go! Please contact me asap to set this up, the students really want to see the Beluga whales there and explore the Seaport. Tamara@educationww.org

Good evening EWoW Parents,
My apologies for the late notice, but we had to move the Aquarium trip to Thursday May 2nd because May 1st is apparently senior skip day. Since there are no classes May 2nd, I hope that everyone can still come.
We were able to get the group rate of $20 per ticket, so please have your student bring a check (made out to EWoW) or cash to school by Monday, April 29th.

We will depart EWoW at 9:30 am and will meet at the aquarium main entrance at 11:30 am for group entry, exhibits, and lunch. We will leave the aquarium at 3:30 and arrive back at EWoW around 5:30 (traffic dependent). Please be sure to send your student with money for lunch/snacks and there is a gift shop there as well.

Unfortunately I am unable to chaperone the Haunted Trail now so I am opening up the discussion for others to take this one if anyone wants. The dates are October 13, 14 and 20, 21.

How do you reach the students who do not come into Ewow regularly? Fir example, last year Max would not be aware of it as he could barely go in…. Is this community portal site, student meetings at Ewow, and note at sign in table the only ways to contact the student body?
Update: due to weather (and lack of sign ups) we are canceling plans for Castle Hill this weekend. Have a great weekend, stay dry!
We are planning a field trip to Castle Hill in Newtown either Sat Oct 21 or Sun Oct 22 depending on interest. We have two cars and can pick up and drop off at EWoW. Feel free to send any questions if interested!
